What is a Surcharge Enabled terminal?
The terminals available for this offer are enabled to add a surcharge to every contact and contactless transaction processed allowing you recover the cost of accepting card payments by passing on the charge directly to your customers. The surcharge is 1.75%. The surcharge amount is always displayed on the customer and merchant receipts. Customers should be informed of the surcharge before the transaction is entered.
