Mastercard Refund Request Response Tier 1 Fee:
Effective March 2024, a Mastercard Refund Request Response Tier 1 Fee of $3.50 will be assessed per dispute refund request response initiated by merchants with designated Tier 1 MCC Codes. Tier 1 MCC’s are all MCC’s with the exception of 4816, 5122, 5912, 5962, 5964, 5966, 5967, 5968, 5969, 5993, 7273, 7995.
Mastercard Refund Request Response Tier 2 Fee:
Effective May 2023, Visa is increasing the Merchant Response Days 26-30 fee from $1.65 to $2.15. This fee is assessed per item when the merchant responds to a dispute within 26-30 days of receiving the preceding dispute questionnaire with a response indicating a credit has been issued, merchant has provided compelling evidence, or the merchant has provided a rebuttal.Effective October 2023, Mastercard will assess a $0.02 transaction fee to eligible transactions when an issuer declines the transaction for insufficient funds and Mastercard has to generate a new Merchant Advice Code (MAC).
Mastercard Refund Request Rsp MC:
Effective March 2024, a Mastercard Refund Request MC - DMS Operational Fee of $7.50 will be assessed for a Mastercard refund request. This fee is initiated when Fiserv receives the response from the merchant for anything other than they are rejecting processing the credit to the cardholder.
Mastercard Incoming Refund Request:
Effective March 2024, a Mastercard Incoming Refund Request Operational Fee of $1.00 will be assessed for an incoming refund request. This fee is initiated when Fiserv receives the incoming refund request and sends it to the merchant.
Mastercard Collaboration Adjustment Fee:
Effective March 2024, a Mastercard Collaboration Adjustment Fee of $0.25 will be assessed per collaboration adjustment initiated by merchants when accepting a Collaboration request).
NW Case Ruling Fee Mastercard DMS:
Effective March 1, 2024, the Mastercard Network Case Ruling Fee will now include a $25.00 Mastercom Processing - Arbitration Case Fee, a $200.00 Filing Fee and a $350.00 Administrative fee.
NW Case Filing Withdrawal Mastercard DMS:
Effective March 1, 2024, the Mastercard Network Case Filing Withdrawal Fee will now include a $25.00 Mastercom Processing-Arbitration Cases Fee, a $200.00 Filing Fee and a $100.00 Case Withdrawal Fee.

Visa Fraud Remedy Upfront Fee DMS:
Effective March 2024, a Visa Fraud Remedy Upfront Fee DMS of $15.00 will be assessed anytime an incoming chargeback for reason code 1040 CNP that meets the Visa Pre-Arbitration Remedy conditions is represented on behalf of the merchant.
Visa Fraud Remedy Merchant DMS:
Effective March 2024, a Visa Fraud Remedy Merchant DMS of $5.00 will be assessed anytime an incoming chargeback for reason code 1040 CNP that meets the Visa Pre-Arbitration Remedy conditions is represented by the merchant.
